New scoring website developed for 3GN point races

3GN Report

Much to the delight to 3-Gun Nation competitors everywhere, scores for all 3GN point races are now being posted to the newly launched http://memberships.3gunnation.com. With seven points races, as well as five equipment divisional categories, this new platform will serve as a “one-stop-shop” for all 3GN points-related matters. This new site will relay all current and up-to-date scores for competitors looking to see where they rank among the others in their category.

The web site is being developed by RangeLog, a leading force in shooting sports technology, as part of the newly launched RangeLog Member Services feature.

“We have been in discussions with RangeLog for quite some time to determine the best possible solution for our needs” said Pete Brown, 3-Gun Nation President. “When RangeLog contacted us with news that they were creating software to help the shooting sports manage member growth, as well as providing some great features for our clubs and competitors, it was an easy decision.  They have a team of incredibly talented developers that have really put together a great resource for our shooters.”

RangeLog.com is used by shooters all over the world to track live and dry fire usage. The site also provides competitors with access to personal score cards for a wide range of shooting sports and individual reports that can be used for analyzing performance.

“For members of RangeLog, this partnership means something much bigger,” described RangeLog Co-Founder, Steve McPherson.  “No longer having to enter score details from official matches allows our members to spend more time identifying areas where improvements can be made.”

With all of the points races 3GN offers, the scoring web site is an integral piece of the puzzle. Featuring races for Pro, Divisional, Semi-Pro, Amateur, Lady and Junior categories, the site is not only a forum for point results, but also tabulates the scores based off shooter ID numbers.

“The potential here is so great” said Chad Adams, 3-Gun Nation Vice President. “For example, with our Club Series, in time 3GN Club members will have the ability to shoot a local match and compare their performance against shooters from all over the country. This partnership will definitely raise the bar and help drive further interest in 3-gun at the local level.”

3-Gun Nation currently offers the following competition races for 3-Gun shooters:

The 3-Gun Nation Pro Series is the first of its kind, featuring the top shooters in the sport of 3-Gun. This six-event series will crown the 2012-2013 3-Gun Nation Champion and winner of the $50,000 Cash prize sponsored by Leupold Tactical Optics.
