3-Gun Nation is proud to announce its official endorsement for a second-term NRA Board of Directors reelection for Joseph P. DeBergalis, Jr.

Most recently, DeBergalis served as Match Chairman for the 3-Gun Nation Championship in West Virginia and 3GN Championship Finale, or “Rumble On the Range,” in Las Vegas,. DeBergalis was a key member of the team that facilitated the 3GN Championship’s $50,000 first place prize, the largest payout in the history of the sport. DeBergalis is also the Match Chairman of last season’s popular AR15.com-Rockcastle Pro-Am 3-Gun Championship.

DeBergalis currently serves as the Chairman of the NRA’s “Education and Training” Committee, Vice Chair of its “Action Pistol” Committee and Member of the Law Enforcement Activities and Sport Shooting (Multi-Gun) Committee. A Law Enforcement Officer by profession, DeBergalis was named the NRA-ILA’s “Volunteer of the Year” in 2005 and was the inaugural inductee to its Election Volunteer Coordinator “Hall of Fame.”

DeBergalis is also currently the Vice President of Operations for the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association, the nation’s oldest Second Amendment advocacy organization. In that capacity, he has direct oversight of all of the shooting sport disciplines, and has forged new relationships with events such as the United States Military Academy at West Point’s Combat Weapons Team and its “Captain Andrew Houghton Memorial Two-Gun Shoot.” As his campaign “slogan” attests, DeBergalis loves and advocates for any firearm platform from “Black Powder to the Black Rifle!”

Voting for the NRA Board of Directors is now open and will continue until March 25, 2012. Current five-year or more consecutive Annual or any level Life Membership NRA members are eligible to vote. The ballots are contained within the February editions of the NRA magazines or will be delivered by U.S. Mail if you choose the electronic form.
