Cincinnati, OH - Vertx, continues with its move into 3-Gun by announcing the signing of 3-Gun Nation pros Rustin Bernskoetter, Burton Thompson, Keith Garcia and Chris Andersen to their newly formed 3-gun team.
“Vertx is excited to field such a great group of shooters. This is a formidable team.” Said Darrell Morrow, Vertx Business Development Manager “All four finished the 2011-12 season strong and look forward to competing in 2013.”
Chris Andersen, a regular contributor to 3GunNation.com, is a USPSA Grandmaster who made the transition to 3-Gun in 2011. He finished out 2012 with a 3rd place finish at the final Pro Series event at the Fallen Brethren 3-Gun Championship, and will be competing in the 2012 3GN Pro Series championship finale in Las Vegas.
Rustin Bernskoetter has been a regular at the top of 3-Gun leader boards for the past 2 seasons culminating with a win at the 2012 Fallen Brethren 3-Gun Championship. He currently sits in 6th place in the 3-Gun Nation Pro Standings, and is a veteran of multiple shoot-offs including the 2011 8-man 3Gun Nation championship finale.
Keith Garcia enters the shoot-off in Las Vegas ranked 3rd overall in the Pro Series. He has placed in the top ten at every pro-series match this year and is the first competitor in the series to defend a Shoot-off victory at the 3-Gun Nation tour stop in Mesa, AZ.
Burton Thompson’s 3-Gun stock has been rising all year. USPSA area multi-gun wins in 2011 quickly transformed into a string of high major match/pro finishes. He notched multiple top tens and qualified for two 3-Gun Nation shoot offs in 2012. He currently sits in 7th in the 3GN Pro standings headed to Vegas.
“Vertx products are a perfect fit for 3-Gun” said Vertx shooter Chris Andersen. “We have all been very impressed with their functionality and quality and very much look forward to representing them in 2013.”
Team Vertx will make their debut at the 3-Gun Nation Rumble on the range on January 16th, at the Clark County Shooting Complex, in Las Vegas, and at SHOT show Booth #126.
