MGM Targets Grand Nationals

Registration is now open for the inaugural MGM Targets Man-On-Man Grand Nationals, an all shoot-off pistol match in the spirit of the famed American Handgunner World Shoot-Off Championships. The MGM Grand Nationals is being hosted by the Parma Rod and Gun Club, home to the MGM Ironman, and is slated for July 24-31 in Parma, Idaho.

Five divisions will be recognized, including Open Auto, Limited Auto, Open Revolver, Limited Revolver and Cowboy. The Grand Nationals will utilize a single-elimination “J Ladder” system and feature 15 stages of fire. Points are earned on each stage, with match-ups being decided by best two out of three runs.

From July 24-26, the Sponsors Challenge side match will run with a maximum of 150 competitors per day. Cost is $95 per entry, and you do not have to register for the main event in order to participate.

Competitors may also shoot the entire match for time and cash payback on Monday or Tuesday, while a host of side matches will be running Wednesday. The main match will take place Thursday through Saturday, with the finale and prize table on Sunday.
