Superstition Underway
The 2011 Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun kicked off in Mesa, Arizona Friday, with more than 300 competitors vying to win the match and gain a coveted slot in the 3-Gun Nation Shoot-Off. At stake this year, a check for $5,000, courtesy of Gun Vault.
Day one saw Keith Garcia sprint out to a fast start, placing the California law enforcement officer in solid contention to make this year's Shoot-Off and take a shot at defending his 2010 3GN Shoot-Off victory. Garcia won the inaugural 3GN Shoot-Off at Superstition Mountain last year.
In addition to the $5,000 check from Gun Vault, AP Custom is kicking more than $2K in cash prizes for the Shoot-Off finalists, ensuring every 3GN Shoot-Off competitor will walk away in the money.
The 2011 3GN Shoot-Off is scheduled for 1 PM this Sunday at the Rio Salado Rifle & Pistol Club in Mesa, Arizona. The event if free and open to the public.
