Arguably no competitor has risen faster in the sport of 3-gun than South Carolina’s Clint Upchurch. Since switching to 3-gun at the beginning of last year, Upchurch’s rise includes four successive Open wins at major events—Adams Arms Ozark 3-Gun Championship, Fort Benning 3-Gun Challenge, Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun and the Blue Ridge Mountain 3-Gun.
Utilizing his pistol skills and running his R&R Saiga shotgun wide-open, Upchurch's rifle game seemingly improves at each event – a scary proposition for the Open field. The ceiling indeed seems extremely high for this top-level shooter.
