Bio
After competing in USPSA pistol matches for several years, the opportunity to shoot a major 3 gun match arose in 2009 at Park City, Kentucky, near Bryan’s hometown of Elizabethtown. Signing up to work the Blue Ridge Mountain 3 Gun as a range officer, Bryan didn’t realize this would be the start of a passion for the sport. While completing a difficult 10 stage match and running 240 shooters through the hills of Rockcastle Shooting Center over 3 days, he was hooked by the challenge of the stages, the mental and physical requirements of the game, and the camaraderie of the shooters.
In addition to traveling across the US competing in matches, Bryan also enjoys volunteering as a range officer at local and major matches. “This sport has been able to grow only because of the men and women who volunteer to host and work these matches. I think it’s important to keep this in mind and return the favor when possible.”
Bryan is married with two boys, ages 6 and 2, and works as a project manager/estimator for an electrical contractor serving Central Kentucky. "I feel blessed to have a family and career that allows me to travel the country and shoot matches."
