Travis started shooting at age 32 after deciding there was just too big of a chance for an ambulance ride with motocross and bull riding.
Bio
Shooting is so much safer! USPSA was where he started, but after shooting his first 3 gun match, he decided that was going to be his primary focus. "Requiring the shooter to be skilled with rifle and shotgun as well as pistol is what makes 3 gun such a challenge for me."
Other shooting disciplines he regularly competes in besides USPSA and 3 gun are, long range rifle, Steel Challenge, and International Defensive Pistol Association.
In addition to his shooting career, Travis along with his Father Mike started the MGM Junior Camp. The main purposes of the Junior Shooter Camp is to enhance the skills of the junior shooters and help to prepare them for competition with a focus on fun and safety. Travis' is famous in the shooting community for his "thumbs and smiles", which sparked an idea for a fan club for Travis - with proceeds going to the Junior Camp. http://www.juniorshootercamp.org/index.html
