From giant slides, to zip lines, to funky firing positions, to round after round after round of ammunition fired, MGM's Ironman is a multi-gun competition unlike any other on earth. Win it, and most veteran competitors will consider you one of the toughest 3-gunners around. But to do so, you must fire well over 1,000 rounds of ammunition from every type of conceivable firing position: elevated, moving, crouching and more.
From the days of Col. Jeff Cooper and company's famous leather slaps at Big Bear, to only a few short years ago, the driving force behind much of the innovation in major practical shooting competition, especially as it evolved into 3-gun, has come out of the western United States. However, in recent years, with the emergence of the Fort Benning 3-Gun Challenge and, more recently, Blue Ridge Mountain 3-Gun Championship (BRM3G), the sport has yet another quality major east of the Mississippi.

Known for the speed in which this match fills, half of the test of skill is how fast you can turn in your match application. With the entire US Army in tow, the Army Marksmanship Unit takes advantage of its unlimited resources in which to create a 3-Gun Match like no other. One of the most popular matches on the circuit, the Ft. Benning 3-Gun Challenge is a fun match for everyone who attends.
Ft. Benning 3-Gun: Event 2 - Season 2

The Ozark 3-Gun Championship is a 3 day event where competitors from all over the Nation take part in 9 scenarios or stages shooting rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Each stage is scored and a time recorded to determine the winner. At the end of the 3 day event each competitor will be given the oppurtunity to select from the prize table in the order they finished the match. Shot in the steep rolling hills of the Missouri Ozarks, this match is a challenging natural terrain event.
